Trends have an especially short shelf life in college but after spending over a decade in student housing, we’re pretty good at keeping up. When we weren’t creating property flyers, we were concepting the next big move-in campaign. Ultimately, we gauged our success by happy residents and renewed leases – but getting a bunch of college guys to care about decorating their apartment was a pretty big win, too.

It was a new year and a big initiative, so we wanted to add a little something different to the campaign. What started out as coffee table coasters, became freebies from every bar and restaurant in town. We think they got the message.

Our social media strategy was simple. Create fun, bite-sized content that residents would want to read and share. From campaign graphics to the first Copper Beech Blog, we stuck with our tried-and-true social formula: Short, sweet and relevant.

Copper Beech residents love their home away from home with a passion, so we decided to come up with a new and easy way for them to show it. Our property-specific t-shirt designs became so popular, they couldn’t print them fast enough.
