Greenville, South Carolina – December 20, 2010
Tina Zwolinski, Partner at Woodward & Zwolinski, has been elected to the board of directors of Langston Charter Middle School, which focuses on core academics, small single-gender classes, leadership training and community service, ethical conduct, patriotism, and parent involvement. Zwolinski will serve as the board's community service director.
“It's a real honor to be asked to serve on Langston's board,” said Zwolinski. “One thing that is very attractive about Langston is that it has had the courage to customize its approach to education, seeking excellence through focus, creative approaches, and discipline, rather than settling for doing 'what everybody else does.' And since we have focused on the youth segment for our clients in our work at W&Z, Langston is a natural fit in every way.”
Zwolinski is already working to expand Langston outreach with local non-profits and is planning a non-profit fair at Langston on January 29.
“Any non-profit interested in participating can give me a call,” said Zwolinski. “We want kids to learn about and have easy access to volunteering and this fair will help with that.”
Woodward & Zwolinski has won gold and silver American Advertising Federation awards, various Matrix awards, and a 2009 PICA award. Zwolinski is a winner of Greenville's Best & Brightest award and is in the 2010-2011 class of Leadership Greenville.
